Banff National Park {Mistaya Canyon & Lake Louise}

Driving thru the beautiful scenery among the Canadian Rockies
in Alberta, Canada on our way to Banff National Park is a real treat!

First stop, Mistaya Canyon.

When we arrived at our campsite in the town of Lake Louise, our friends were already there waiting for us. We met the Ferguson family at the Fulltime Family rally in San Diego in January, so we were excited to meet up with them again!

After checking out the visitor center's exhibits, we decided to hike around Lake Louise.

We hiked to the Fairview Lookout which provided this fabulous view of Lake Louise and the Fairmont Chateau at the water's edge! The water color was almost unbelievable!

Back at lake level brought a whole new perspective as people were kayaking on the crystal water.

It was lightly snowing and sleeting on us, so we went inside the grand Fairmont
Chateau hotel to warm up with some hot chocolate before moving on to Moraine Lake.
