Valley of the Rogue State Park

We left Travis AFB and drove directly to Valley of the Rogue State Park in Oregon. Our view of Mt Shasta heading north.

The kids took their babies for a ride along the trail, they hadn't done this in awhile.

They used to be so sweet and careful while walking them, but this time they were pushing the
babies to see how far they could go without touching the handles and then it turned into bumper cars.

Ah, but then they did have some gentle moments with their babies.

Asher has been asking to play mini golf and we found the perfect place near our campsite with a view of the mountain.

Back at the state park, we enjoyed walking the trails next to the Rogue River.

We learned that the Rogue river runs 215 miles from Crater Lake to the Pacific Ocean!
Salmon make the journey out to the ocean and return to the river where they were born to spawn.

Making shadow puppets. They loved my talking dog.
