Florida's Emerald Coast

Daddy's cousin Ariana recently moved from Japan to Florida, so we decided to
take a weekend trip out to Pensacola to visit her and her family. On the way there
we stopped at the Emerald Coast Science Center to play.

They love these wind machines.

When you slap the back of this drum, it sends a puff of air strong enough to knock over the pins.

Bug Eyes

This is a laser beam piano. You can't see the beams, but each one plays
a different note when you go over it. Journey played beautiful music on this.

We decided to stay in base housing for the weekend. For the kids, hotel = jumping on beds.

The next day we met Ariana, Liam and Dela at the Pensacola Children's Museum.

Asher kept coming back to the magnetic fishing game.

Playing trains with Liam.

Ariana and Dela playing on the airplane rocker.

Afterwards we walked thru downtown to the farmers market.

Before heading back to the hotel, we went to the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum
(more on that later), then to the beach to play in the soft, white sand. When we first
pulled up, Asher thought it was snow!

Practicing letters in the sand. Lately when Journey says
the prayer before eating, she's been thanking God for letters!
