Birthday Outing- Ropes Course

Ten days earlier they did this course for the very first time. We returned to celebrate their birthday and do it again as big four year olds! When you purchase the ticket for the course, they actually allow you two trips thru. Last time Journey only did it the one time. The day before, I asked her how many times she was going to do the course this time, she said 5! Ha!

Asher was even more adventurous this time and opted to cross the
tightrope. I watched him become nervous as the line swung under his feet. 

He stopped to steady himself, never complaining.

He persisted and completed it!

As he completed the course I gave him a high five and he said he was 

going to do it again, "but I not do that one part again" (the tightrope) ha! 

On his last time thru, he started to do some creative things, this for example....

They all ended up doing the course twice, even though Asher and cousin Alecs zoomed thru and were done with both 

before Journey even started her second trip. I think she actually went super slow so it would last longer.

Spending our birthdays watching my once two and three pound babies conquer this ropes course with confidence, determination and strength brought tears to my eyes. They have come so very far and have grown into such amazing children. We are blessed beyond measure!
