The road to Moab

Monument Valley, Goosenecks State Park, & Natural Bridges National Monument, Utah

As we left Lake Powell from Page, Arizona, we drove thru Monument Valley. It's surreal to see these giant blocks of rock rising from the ground.

Pulling the RV off the side of the road was a challenge, so I didn't get the standard picture that people are familiar with. Instead I took this, which I think is a fun spin on the typical shot.

Then we spent the night at Goosenecks State Park which lets you camp right along the rim of the canyon! At this point the river meanders thru and you can see it cross in front of you four times!

The next day we visited Natural Bridges National Monument on our way to Moab. This place was much more interesting than we expected. We would like to return someday to explore this area better. Pictures don't do this place justice as the bridges are hard to see in them, but in person they are impressive.

just hopping thru
