Once we made it up to the lake, we were in awe of the view. The deep blue water with ice and snow on top was so mesmerizing!
We all took turns glissading down the snow on our rain jackets. I decided to climb higher in search of a better vantage point.
Of course the kids got a bit wet from playing in the snow, so Asher wore my jacket to hike down the mountain.
We actually planned to return and hike this again at the end of summer, but ran out of time. This is one that we will certainly do again next time we're in Alaska.
