Florida Beaches (Siesta, Clearwater and Dog Beach)

Asa LOVES to swim, so we took her on a special trip to Brovard Dog Beach. We entered thru Paw Park, an off-leash fenced-in dog park, complete with a dog wash station. The second set of gates open to a path that runs along a gator habitat before reaching the beach. It was a little nerve wracking watching tiny dogs wander off the path towards the swamp. A soon as we hit the beach Asa ran straight into the surf and laid down in the refreshingly cold water. She was in heaven!

Asher loves throwing the ball and Asa loves fetching it.

A perfect match, these two!

She's getting more confident in the water but she still
hung onto my leg so the waves wouldn't knock her over.

No trip to Florida is complete without a visit to Siesta Key, ranked America's #1 beach!
We went with three other Fulltime Families that we met at the rally.

The younger kids watching the older boys wrestle while the adults watch from the back.

One of these girls also has a twin brother and happens to be 364 days older than
Journey. The other is only a few months younger than Journey. Great playmates!

Jumping like frogs on the beach!

Asher drew a map of the roller coaster he rode at Legoland.

The kids thought this guy was hilarious. I love hearing their giggles.

We stopped at Clearwater Beach after our visit to the Clearwater Aquarium.
We enjoyed lunch at a restaurant on the beach and then played awhile after.

Journey dancing away on the beach!
