Hug Point Beach, Seaside, Oregon

We spent a few days at beautiful Hug Point Beach just south of Cannon Beach. We love the combination of mountains and green right on the beach. The caves, waterfall and tide pools were a pleasant surprise.

The kids read this sign out loud to us: "No fire, no crackles, no digging, no shaking hands, no petting ducks or seals..."

A family happened to be working on these sand sculptures which my kids loved.

At low tide we were able to find starfish, crabs and other little creatures.

Gooseneck barnacles reaching out for plankton in the water.

We explored the caves.

And before we left, Asher decided to do some climbing.

He made it up there! See him?
