a FROZEN birthday

Living 2000 miles away from family, is hard. It's sad when your kids are turning four years old and they have never had family around for their birthday. This year is different thanks to our new RV life. We will spend the twins' birthday with family in Florida, and to allow the kids to celebrate with the rest of their family, we had a party for them a few weeks early in Ohio.

They both requested a Frozen birthday, so in preparation, I purchased the set of movie characters to put on their cake. The night of their party I awoke in the middle of the night and realized I forgot to put them on the cake, AH! Oh well, the cake was still really cute.

Journey sported new Frozen gear from head to toe, gifts from Christmas, while Asher wore his new "birthday boy" shirt.

The party was held at Grandpa's barn, which allowed friends and family to play basketball,
air hockey and a heated game of dodgeball while Journey worked on her jump shot.

The kids decorated their own snowflake-shaped cookies.

...and then it was time for cake!

Posing for pictures.

Blue lemonade with the cotton candy snowballs that were sent home with our guests.
