Puerto Iguazu {Argentina}

After solo birding at Iguazu National Park, I ended up at Jardin de los Picaflores to watch their feeders for one hour. You have to make a reservation before arriving as it's a neighborhood backyard and kept locked at all times. On the hour, someone let's the early group leave while welcoming the new group inside. There are multiple levels and places to sit and relax while watching the birds come to a variety of feeders.

While waiting on my ride, I spotted a Yellow-fronted Woodpecker on a tree outside! Lifer!

We stayed at Pura Alma, which had a nice, warm pool to relax in and a small restaurant area for breakfast and dinner.

I watched this Swallow-tailed Hummingbird aggressively defending his territory at our hotel gate. Pretty entertaining to watch.

We walked to the main street for dinner one night and enjoyed the biggest burritos we've ever had. 

Also came across a Scaly-headed Parrot and the neighborhood dog pack.

Now it was time to say Adios Argentina, and Hola Chile!

From above it was shocking to see how Paraguay has almost completely destroyed the forest. The difference between Paraguay and Argentina is obvious.

I believe the section of remaining forest seen here is what's been designated as a national park.
